How to write polite emails or letters
Abschlussbedingungen
In order to come across more polite, you can basically use:
- modals (could/should/would/might)
- questions ("Could you have a look at...?" instead of "Look at...")
- Rephrasing/choice of words ("this was rather unpleasant" instead of "This was a really crappy experience!")
- not using Capital letters in whole words or sentences /too many exclamation marks (like in: ARE YOU JOKING????!!!!!!!!!!!!Don't do this :))
There are more tips in the attached document :)
